Couch sleeper

Getting a 2021 3761f it has 2 couches that fold out into beds. For those of you who have these couches. Do you find them comfy for visitors?

We put a good topper on our couch/sleeper. Our 6'1" nephew said he slept like a baby. We tuck the topper under the seat before folding the bed back to the couch.

Yes, they can both be opened at the same time. Ours has a 2 or 3 inch gap between them when opened. But they are not anchored to the floor, so they can move and actually touch each other.

Comfort: No. They are horrible. We tried toppers. We tried air mattresses (2 different ones). We even went with a 12 inch thick air mattress on top of it. They were all horrible.

When our son and grandson travel with us, we now simply pull out the 12 inch air mattress and lay it on the floor between the two couches. It makes a much better bed that way.

For small kids, they might be find. For adults to sleep on, they are awful. They are actually tilted on a slope, so your head is going down hill. Flip around with your head in middle of the room and then the creases and the bars supporting them gouge you in ALL the wrong places.

Laying on them side ways, then your feet and you end up rolling into on of those very uncomfortable creases and the bars and supports still jab you in all the wrong places.

The 12 inch blow up on the floor works a LOT better!

Agreed the trifold sofas are terrible. If you do a search for tri fold sofas you will see a post I made with photos of how I fixed the sloping part of the sofa bed it was easy took about an hour to do

Assuming our couches are made the same, they should be mine is a year older. The backrest of the sofa is hinged I unbolted the hinges and put 3” pieces of threaded rod in between the frame and hinge. I had to drill 3/8” hole thru frame and secured with nuts and washers.

Yes, they fold out fine. We found we had to add some padding as they have a groove where they fold out. For kids….. they work great. For us adults….. not the most comfy, but adequate……

One of our rigs is a HC 375FL. It has the opposing couches in the front living. My cousin came for a visit last week and she proclaimed the couch “comfortable, just fine.” Maybe for her but not for me. She is thin and 6’1”. I am normal and 6’3”. The bases are uneven when opened BUT! We have a large egg crate cushion (about 6’x6’) we put on top of the bed and under the bottom sheet.
This rig is semipermanent and we don’t tow it. Wh have a “mud room” we store misc stuff in like the egg crate cushion.

Fold down beds.

Not comfortable. Bought a queen inflatable mattress and put between the couches.

Totally agree.

I'll lay down on the couch to take a nap, but to flow out and try to sleep doesn't work. The flows hit you in all the wrong places.

Nope.
I have yet to find a pull out sleeper sofa comfortable in a home OR in a rig.

If I were you, sleep on it a few nights --you will find out yourself.

We drag around a topper when we have to. Even with a topper, it's ok for a few nights. Not more than that. Maybe that is the point? LOL

Very painful

We have a 2019 that came with a trifold couch and a dual seat theater recliner. As others have said young grandkids didn’t seem to mind. The older they once preferred the floor. DW and myself couldn’t even sit on it because of the bars under the cushions killed our back and butt. We replaced both The couch is now one with 3 recliners that are easy to sleep on. The other is now 2 swivel recliners. Eventually we will replace them with a love seat, I miss sitting together. Anyway, it is so much better now and looks better than the pleather stuff.
