Hayes Lemmerz Brake controller

The dealer had a Hayes Lemmerz Energize III Brake Controller installed on my truck when the fifth wheel was installed. I know the prodgy is the Cadillac of brake controllers but does anyone else have the one that I have and how do you like it. It seems rather crude having to adjust this little arm and having to use your judgement on the brightness of the small red light for setup. But it is OK as long as it works. I am sure they installed it because it is about half price of the prodigy. Thanks for replies. (THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS).
