Thanks for the update, 315RLS. During the rally in Indiana I got some of the clips used on the new Montanas but haven't put them on yet. Still have the clothespins on there. Soon as it warms up I'll put them on. If I don't find them satisfactory, then I'll be back to this thread to get the url to get the drip clips. Always nice to hear of a good product.

I really like the clip but after seeing what the shipping charges are I will buy them some place else! Their shipping charges are way out of line.
Thanks for the info.

Yes their shipping charges were a shock for me but I bought a couple other things (anode rod, power adapter, etc) which kinda washed the $8.36 shipping for me. Figure it easily equals gas and time especailly if it solves a problem and isn't generally available.

I've been working on getting some of these drip clips. I went to our local rv parts store and while I was there she called rvsurplus which is one of their suppliers. The woman she deals with was on a weeks vacation. Two weeks later when they went there to pick up supplies they were out of stock. They will be going again in about two weeks and are hoping to get some then. I don't know what they are going to charge for them but they have always been quite reasonable on there pricing. I don't know if it will all work out but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll keep everyone posted

I can give you a up-date on the drip clips. On my track to delaware at speeds of average 60-65 MPH,the drip clips were at Delaware when I arrived. They stayed put,and not to mention no black streaks.Usually in those 4 corners i get the black streaks real bad. They worked and they stayed on.Can`t ask for any thing more then that, well OK maybe free shipping.

Glad to hear they worked for you. We get the black streaks really bad in the four corners of the Montana and on our previous 5th wheel. Hope this will be the cure for us also.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!! We picked up some drip clips at one of our local dealers (N. of Detroit). He said they just came in. We paid $8.99 instead of the $6.99 they want for them at www.rvsurplus.net but had no shipping. Maybe some of the local dealers are getting them now that camping season is here.

The only time I've lost the clothespins in the last 15,000 miles or so is when I knocked one loose with the wash brush and didn't bother to climb up and re-secure it. Just forgot about it and later lost it. I think I've lost 3 that way in a year. I have a few spares in the basement, just in case!

Been using the same clothes pins for well over a year. Lost 2 to a bush and knocked one off the other day when cleaning, even broke the little spout. replaced the spout and reused the old pin. If I recall a bag of 24 pins cost me about a buck and a half. At this rate it's like a lifetime supply and a lot cheaper than 6 to 8 bucks.

Just for info. Anyone planning on going to the get-together in Indiana can stop at RV Surplus in Elkhart on their way to or from and pick some up themselves without the shipping.
We picked up some on our way home from Texas as we stopped in Middlebury to get some warranty work done.
Or, someone can take a shopping list and pick some up. We will be back for the Lake Ontario get-together.

I have found that the clothspin helps a littlebut my run off is caused by Keyston installing the gutter 1 inch behind the top of the cap and it allowing the run off to go down the side of the Monty in front of the gutter, I will have to devise some kind of an aditional gutter extention to conect to the existing then allowing the run off to go out the downspoutwith the clothspin attached.

I ordered 2 sets and recieved 1, but when I was installing them I broke 2 of my original gutter ends. They are a little difficult to install.

Shipping from CW cost the same as the clips, outrageous. I found them at a local dealer. If the local dealer does not have them, they will probably order them for you, that will save the shipping charge.
