Adding W/D with no prep

We are purcahsing the 3650 and just found out that it does not have an option for adding the Washer/dryer prep. Does anyone have any experience installing a W/D where there was no prep? Or, using a free standing W/D? I used the search features but could not find info related to this specific situation. Thanks.

We don't have one installed (YET!) but it is on the short list. We never had one in the past but the last camper had one and we do miss it. Not the washer as much as the dryer. We mostly weekend but do take longer trips and the dryer gets the most use. It's nice to put the towels in after a shower so they aren't hanging around to dry and it's great to dry clothes when caught in the rain (it always rains at one point or another when we camp).

We plan to put one in our 3650. My plan so far is for the lower bedroom closet. The water lines are close by under the storage area and I plan to vent the dryer. A combo unit should be no problem. I'm also an electrician.

Well, we have had the washer over a year now. It can do 14 pounds ... a lot more then one sheet at a time. We don't like to mix or overload it, so we wash both sheets and pillowcases as one load. It actually does a better job then a lot of laundrys that we've used. It's an LG by the way, not a Splendide.

I understand some people who had the older units wern't to satisfied. But that's last years news. It's like border crossings ... What happend last year or last month is old news, things change.
