Noisy AC Fan

Is there access to lub the fan in my rear AC unit. The fan seems to be noisy --AC works great but would like to quiet down the fan.

No, but you can oil the shaft with WD 40, then try and get some heavier oil on it. (the WD will create a path for it.)
I have, in refrigeration motors, drilled a very small hole in the bearing mount (small bulge holding the bearing) and lubed that with sewing machine oil. Did this at a small store by my house, kept it going for another 2 years.
Could be a bearing that is past help, but you won't hurt anything trying to help it a little.

Could the blades have slipped on the shaft and is hitting something? Just a thought.

If the bearings go out, can they be user-replaced?

Ours was really noise and vibrating after taking it out of storage. About ready to call Repair. Then decided to check the fan and found big chunk of a dirt or muddobber?? on the end of the shaft. Removed that and fan works as good as new.
