Timbrens

Not sure where I got the recommendation to add Timbrens Suspension Enhancement. I was all set to buy a set of airbags and decided to try these and save about $ 400.00 I bought them from trucksprings.com and installed them myself in less than an hour. Hooked up the Monty and went for a ride. Really seemed to help the "chucking" that I experienced driving the rig home last week for the first time. Also my truck doesn't sag anymore when I'm hitched up. Thanks for your suggestion!!!

I guess I dont understand how they work if when hooked up your springs do not touch the stock rubber bumpers. Are they longer than stock, and then when hooked up touch the spring which in turn gives you a softer ride????

If you visit this link it will probably be better than anything that I can explain. www.timbren.com

Timbrens replace the rubber axles stops and are longer. They don't rest directly on the axle but (on my Dodge) they rest on metal pads that attach to the axle. When unloaded I have about 1" of travel before the Timbrens limit further sag. Ride is much better when loaded now.

I hope this helps.
