What's that stuff on my truck?

On our way back home to Florida from our annual trip to Maine, we e stayed at the Boston KOA last night: When we set up at that site, it was raining and miserable outside. And then we we got up this morning and walked outside we found our truck covered in snow! We were reserved at the NYC north KOA tonight, but they were snowed in! So then the trip was extended to go on to our next site at the Pine Grove, PA KOA. They were able to take us a day early, but the snow storm caused some electrical problems there too. And to add more snow related grief, our blue truck looks terrible with the grit/salt/road dirt from our trip today. On the other hand, we made the trip from Boston to Pine Grove without any accidents and we have a place to rest easy for the next couple of days...counting our blessings.

Know the feeling well. Left Western NY Friday morning, saw all the warnings while in PA. Made it to Falling Waters, West Virginia. Sat morning was raining, and a few minutes later big heavy wet snow flakes. Got on the road and drove on slush covered roads for about 2 hours then got south of the storm and had bright sun. If we had stayed in West Virginia we might have still been there, instead we arrived in Holiday, FL this evening to mid 70s, boy what a change.

Michael; You better get back to FL fast as no snow here. It did get colder here as we had to close the doors of the house as it was cold coming in as the muggies are gone. That white stuff will get you .sailer

Its nice that we arent the first ones to get the white stuff this year. I mowed my lawn today and saw a lot of people walking and riding there bicycles.I am sure it wont last for long.

Glad you guys are OK! Come on home! We are really glad to see mid 70's highs after the summer we had. Walking the dog today was a treat! Take your time, though. Rain here tomorrow and maybe longer.

It was 91 degrees here today. What's with all the snow stories? Sounds like some of you are gonna have a white Christmas if you don't get out of there sooner than later.
