Fuel mileage for the new LBZ Duramax??

I would like to hear from any folks who have the new '06 LBZ Duramax with 6 speed Allison transmission. What type of mileage are you getting while towing as well as empty? Am thinking about possibly getting into the transport business and going to a 3500 or 4500(kodiak) possibly. Thanks for any replies on how the new 06 is doing.

Ours is still too new to really access mileage. We only have about 3,000 miles on it and know we will get better once it is broken in a bit.
Happy trails......................

Sue and Ed,
At the moment I think you are the only ones who have the new LBZ. I look forward to your updates on how your truck is doing.

Sue & Ed The combination of the two TV and 5er look GOOD together. I also would be interested with news of how the new motor and trany is working for you? See-ya

We pulled the Montana to the rally as our first time out. A lot of mountain driving and Ed was amazed at the transmission and how easy it is to operate and how easy we went up the mountains. Since we were on our first 500 towing miles, we were suppose to keep it at 50-55. I had the GPS on and was watching speed and I had to keep reminding him to slow down! We love it! I'll post MPG when we have it broken in better. Nothing for at least 6 weeks as we have a lot of family things coming up.
Happy trails.......................
