Slideout troubleshoot

Hello all, I have 2010 Montana 3455s and the bedroom slide is in at top but out at bottom! Put it in storage and checked it yesterday and found the bottom sticking out about 3 -4 ! There is no power here cause the battery was taken out . Is there an over ride ? Was asked if its hydraulic slides or electric? You I'm not sure? It has hydraulic legs in front ! Anyone with this model and familiar with the slide outs and landing gear would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you ....Bill

Sounds like your slide out is Hydraulic.. To fix the issue you will need a battery installed... trying to plug tow vehicle in and close hyd slides wont work.. Too much amperage draw..

Most likely either air in the system or internal leaking slide out cylinder.. Operate the slide a few times with battery connected to purge air and close and then monitor... If slide creeps out again you will need to do a cylinder bypass leaking check.. provided there are no external fluid leaks...

There is NO manual way to close that BR slide out without a battery if it is hydraulic

Actually you can manually operate the hydraulic slides without a battery. Googling keystone rv hydraulic slide override will show numerous videos and articles on it. Here is one
