Good for you, Bill. I can relate to the 12-hour shifts. I worked them in my industry for many years. I was usually on the PM-AM side of things. 3-4 days off a week was nice, but as I got older, the 12-hour shifts got more difficult. As an offset pressman, I spent practically the whole shift on my feet. By the end of the night, it felt like I was walking on 2 bags of sand. I'm no longer printing after about 35 years in the trade, and doing something different that's much easier on the old bones. I hope this new schedule works out well for you. I'm sure you've earned it. Enjoy the extra time camping, and that awesome new truck.
