Keep a real close eye on the tread faces, as they are prone to bulge/ separate. Once one starts, it seems that all others follow suit.

Our 2010 has the Chinese made Marathons. We just returned from Alaska with no problems with the tires. Have about 15,000 miles on them total. Looks like may get 10,000 more out of them. I always keep close watch on tire pressures. Run 75# all the time.
We are running ours on their first trip (excluding from the manufacturer to the dealer) from Tampa to Maine...currently in Mass. We run ours at 80# and keep our speed below 65...I would rather keep below 60, but its good to have the extra speed to carry us up some of the steep grades we have encountered...anyway, so far so good. Glad to hear some good news about these tires.

We just had our 2nd blowout of Goodyear Marathon tires in one months time on our 2010 3605rl. The dealer and Keystone have washed their hands of the failed tires and I have to deal with Goodyear. Goodyear replaced the first failed tire with the same China made tire and ignored my concerns about the remaining tires on the trailer. I had all the tires checked by Goodyear Auto Center and the manager said that the tires looked good and the only way I would know if it fails is when it fails! I thought I was going to lose it. Well, one week after the inspection and the infamous explaination, we had the second failure on our way home from Orlando. Thank God that we have the Pressure Pro System and were alerted to get off the road to change the tire out. I am now going to have to bring the trailer and the failed tire to Goodyear again, but this time I'm demanding a change in all tires. Has anyone had any luck doing such a switch with Goodyear? I'm thinking of calling the NTSB about these tires as for sure they are causing a lot of damage to trailers and nerves not to mention they may already have cost lives.

Had a nice day here in Michigan so went out to get the Monty ready for our first trip on April 2. When I went to torque the lugs and check the tire pressure, I am noticing a significant bulge on the sidewall of one of the Marathons. These tires have about 1200 miles on them in the 6 months we've owned this. What a way to start the season! Reading the above posts, I will likely just replace all 4 tires with a better brand. It certainly doesn't instill any confidence with only 1200 miles on these. Any suggestions on better brands?

You're lucky that you found it when you did. Many of us have had to have the trailer repaired after one of the Chinese road bombs blew up. I replaced mine with BF Goodrich Commercial TA's and have been very happy with them. It's what I run on my truck. There are several other brands that are just as good.

Bill: We did one 1000 mile trip with our new 2010 3455 before we replaced our Marathons with G614's. I just expected those bulges to appear sooner rather than later.

Replaced all five with BFG Commercial TA about 6 months ago. Put about 2,000 miles on them in last month. Very pleased with them.

I picked up our 2011 3455 in Feb. and it came with Goodyear Marathons made in China. I check pricing at a local tire discount store and they can get the Commercial TA's, Duravis 500's or the G614 (those seem to be the ones most of you folks are using). I'll wait until I get everything loaded and weigh the unit before I decide which tires to use. Fortunately (thanks to reading posts on this forum), I got under the unit and verified that the wheels will take 110psi, so I can select one of the above.

Be sure to measure the drivers side and the curb side separately and let us know what you find. Our unit is over 900 lbs heavier on the drivers side at 6072 lbs. loaded, therefore I couldn't use the Commercial TA's that we used on our previous 3400 model.
