Replacing of Drawer Slides under Couch

Has anyone replace the drawer slides under the couch? The service center I used mailed me the slides and said they just bolt in. It does not look that easy. I need to know the sequence for assembling the slides to the drawer and the drawer to the couch frame. Do I need to take the metal framing apart to get it all back together without popping the endcaps on the slides? Or do I neet to pop the endcaps on the slides and risk loosing all the ballbarings in the slides?

Allen and Iris,

Thanks for your response. But my questtion relates to slides that are broken and being replaced. I have drawer out and disassembled. The order in assembling 3 levels of the nuts and bolts is the problem. One level is covered up by the other. It looks like I will have loosen the framing to get it re-assembiled.

I have replaced the drawer slides. Really not much to it. There are holes in the slides that will allow you to line up on top of where the screws are and use a screw driver. once you get started you should be able to see what I mean. Kerry
