For those who are interested, we have selected Fort Chiswell RV Park in the Wytheville, Va. Area as the site of the 2009 Virginia-Mid Atlantic Rally. The dates will be Thursday, Aug 6th through Sunday, Aug 9th. Reservations can be made at any time (ours have been made already) by calling toll-free 1-866-724-5505. Be sure to mention the Montana Owners Club. The rate will have a 10% reduction off of their normal rates. I was told that all sites are 50 amp full-hookup.
Consider this an OPEN INVITATION to join us for a great weekend. The rally site was chosen to provide easy access for residents of the central Atlantic Coast area yet is also easily accessible to states such as Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennslylvania, and for any other state resident who wants to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains!! The campground is located near the intersections of I-77 and I-81.

Bingo,
Educate me, what is a cakewalk? It sounds messy. Do we do it with our shoes off? Is it easy as I was always led to believe?

There are different ways of doing it. One is numbered tickets, one is number locations on the ground. A cake is selected, anyone interested in that cake purchases a ticket, and everyone walks in a circle and stops when told. A number is drawn and the person on that number wins the cake. Shoes, no-shoes, makes no difference. Of course, for it to happen, we would need donated cakes, pies, etc. We have had them for years at reunions, etc.

Bingo,

I'll take fire tender, assisted by Polly, one of the nights, preferably Friday night.
