I bet you sleep like a log at night! Wish our one and only local appliance/refrigeration repair guy had a work ethic like yours.

Carolyn Thanks, I do work hard, yesterday is the only day I stopped to eat a sandwich, I usually work straight through. My customer is king, I treat them like I would be doing the work for myself. On the job site I am on, the urinal wasn't working, I knew it was a Sloan flush valve kit that it needed, it only cost me $13.00, I bought the kit on the way in, and installed it in about 5 minutes. I won't charge him the cost of the parts, I just like to do a little extra for a customer.
The work is hard, my right hand finger-tips are really sore, twisting the copper wires just tears up your fingers.
I hope your service related problems and follow up repairs are going better now.
Take care, Ozz

Thanks for all your hard work Ozz and paying in the SS fund so the rest of us can tan in the RGV. Think about this. The other day I was BSing with a buddy and a repair man who was putting in a new refrig in a 5th wheel, asked if we would help him get it in. He said ususally when he did work there would be 18 guys hanging around watching and willing to give a hand. No dice this time. In our conversation I found out at 50 yo he was now retired and lived in the RGV at a RV Resort 6 months. He worked as an RV repair man, self employed, and was busy 5 days aweek. May not give you as much opportunity to get a tan as previously on SPI, but more than you get now.

Dave last year when were staying in the Isla Blanca park on the island, I put up my repair cards, told the different camp ground offices I did repairs. I got 10 or 12 repair calls that winter, ranging from repairing wiring to a ceiling fan in a very large motor home, to fixing doors, and anchoring down awnings.
It was fun and gave us a little extra food money, but it's hard to gear up for that with limited storage space.
I worked Sunday on my current install job and had the back of the truck full, and the back and front seat full of tools and supplies.

Know what you mean Ozz. This guy had his truck packed with just enough room to drive it. Just a note there are 50 parks in Mission. It seems when we go for a drive there is another park around the corner.

Ozz, you work hard! Your day will come when you can tan yourself in the sun.
We didn't do much tanning this week here in AZ. Rain last 3 days and down in the 50 and 60's but will warm up soon.
