Dometic Refrigerator Recall

FYI, I got a recall on my Model RM2852 refrigerator a couple of weeks ago to correct a condition that may result in a crack coming in the heat chamber. I haven't seen any postings, so I am wondering if any one else received the recall. Dealer made the upgrade and kept the recall letter, so I can't give the ser.# range involved. You can get the list online at Dometic.

Does anyone know, are the DM2862 models affected, or are the RMxxxx the only models with the heat exchanger problems?

These refrigerator recalls are getting confusing. I just got a recall in the mail, went on line a found out my refrig is in the group being recalled. When I called my service guy, he said the recall notice pertained to the recall he did on my refrig in May.

ehmcfarl...there are no "DM" models listed...there are nine models included, eight are "RM" and one "NDR." You might want to double check your unit to see if that is the correct lettering.
