Window Slide

Yesterday in the 100 Degrees, Kevin and I went out to work on stowing gear in the 5-r and when I tried to open the window on the front of the LR slide (in our 3295) the whole pull assembly (in the center of the window) came off the glass. It looks like the rubber cement or whatever they used in there got hot and unstuck itself. My question is.. now what?... the metal frame side.. the latch and the gasket are just kind of standing there in the window all alone.

Back to dealer you go. I'm sure it can wait until you have other things because I know you are a ways from your dealer. But I would make sure it gets fixed right because you want to be secure.
Happy trails......................

I know it should be under warranty and all. But maybe saving yourself a trip. Could it be fixed with some epoxy type glue? Like you would use to put a rear view mirror on a windshield. I have some of this in my toolbox all the time for situations like this. I'm not saying this would do the trick because I'm not 100% sure which handle it is you are talking about. But was wondering if you thought about epoxy glue? The kind you mix two parts together (Resin & Hardener)

Have the same problem with one of the windows in the dining area on our unit. Going to have the dealer fix it when we take it in for the other issues we have found. When we picked up our unit, we actually had to pop the weather stripping off the outside of the windows and pop them open with a screw driver. They have finally got to the point where they will open now without sticking.

One of our bedroom windows sticks like that... about halfway up...
I was in favor of fixing it ourself, but I can't figure out how to get the silly thing back on the window... it is the metal frame from the inside of the window... with the latch assembly...
the only thing on the center of the window now is the glass and the bottom and top frames.. been in it a week now, and only found two things not quite right though... I think that is a pretty good thing.
