Hydraulic Jacks
I have a 2014 3582RL. I check my jacks all of the time, so far no problem after one year of ownership. I also wipe down the rams after it sits for awhile. Hopefully you will not have any other problems after the repair.

I wipe down routinely with CRM. Ours also trouble free after 10 months.

I have my first hydraulic jacks on our 2015 3440rl. I thought I read someplace about wiping the rams after it sets for a while. Is this what you are talking about. Did they recommend silicone spray if I remember? Any other tricks to maintain them?

I pull the sildes in and then take a damp paper towel and wipe the rams if just down for a week while camping.
In the winter when mine sits for 4-5 months on our site in the RGV, I wipe them down a couple times with a paper towel and lite oil. Then again the morning I retract them.
I did add the CAT anti-stiction oil to fix the popping in temp changes.
Realize the rams and cylinders are aluminum not steel like on construction equipment.

I accidently put this reply in under new topic instead of reply to topic. It worked out well. There was some good information on luging the rams. Thanks

You were probably replying to my post about piston failure. Thanks for your reply.
