Dale Earnhardt Sr.' s 2 nick-names

NASCAR: 1986 season, Dale Earnhardt Sr. won the Winston Cup with 5 wins. It was around that time that an entrepreneur named Hank Jones dubbed Earnhardt ‘The Dominator’ Hank printed shirts and souvenirs with that name and sold them track side. I guess the fans thought it didn‘t fit Dale very well, as the sales were not great, so he got the idea to change the name around to the name ‘The Intimidate’, Jones made around $180,000 selling the items from a track side trailer that year. He scored big on the name change.
Dale Sr. created his own company called Sports Image Inc. We are all quite familiar with ‘The Intimidator’ name now.

I got tired of the 'slinky' hoses that curled up every-time we dumped. Yes, we went the support route, even used gutter covers; thin aluminum wire do-dads, and I know there are downspouts, gutter sections and round pipe to help out, but the thin 'slinky' types soon are making little sewer fountains, as they are thin walled.
I ordered the best I have been able to find from my supplier, it is called 'The Dominator', Dales first nick-name. This fan likes the name and the product. When you accordion this baby shut, it sounds like a oak cabinet door closing.

Sounds like very sound reasoning to me, Ozz. I was and still am a big Earnhardt fan. DW's Suburban even has an Earnhardt #3 WV vanity plate on it. Still have a wall in the family room dedicated to Dale, Sr. that includes cars, figurines, pictures, a miniature hood and my pride and joy of the family room: a full sized, fully functional (although I have never used it.....yet!!!) #3 surfboard! DW got it for me for Christmas a few years ago after I saw one hanging in the old Myrtle Beach Nascar Cafe. DW did good!!!

You know you're a hard core RV'er when you can get enthusiastic about a sewer drain hose! Thanks Ozz, I'm always looking for a better mousetrap.

Have been an intimidator fan for years. My oldest son, who now owns Larry's towing, and I actually drove tow trucks at Rockingham M/S until Nascar left. Met a lot of the drivers. Not just the fans but all of the racing community had a lot of respect for him. Am now a Jr. fan. He is on the right path this year and will soon win a race, maybe tomorrow.

Well we can wait another week.
