LONG LOAD Concrete Bridge Beams
Twice this week four of these have passed our RV park. The Concrete fabrication plan is about 3 miles up the road. Three State Troopers escorting. I guess some where around 250 to 300 feet long.
The rear section has a steering wheel.
The car on the grass tried to pass. State Police got them off the road quickly.

Reminds me of the old ladder fire trucks in Detroit with the wheelman in the rear of the trailer. So cool watching them in the narrow streets!

I think I ordered those for the dock extension I need (per indy roadrunner) so that I can park the Montana on the dock!! Sorry to create such a disturbance there John!

John, we are just down the road from you. We are at Southern Palms until at least April. We were in the RGV for the winter, but had a family emergency here so..... here we are. Being a full-timer makes it a little easier to just go.
We see those same trucks- 7 in a row went south on 44 over the weekend. The road the manufacturing plant is on was repaved early last summer. I wonder what the heavy load is dong to that? Isn't at least some of the road damage we see caused by overweight trucks?

Bingo, lay a couple of those bridge spans by the dock, put a few boards on them, park the Monty there, put the root beer cooler out, grill a few burgers, put some fries in the turkey grease pot and you could make enough to pay for the monty, dock, and boat while sitting on your floating patio under the umbrella sipping a frosted mug of root beer. Why there would be no way boaters on the river could pass you up without stopping and leaving some of their money.

We ran into something similar to that on the way to the Badlands in SD a few years ago. Highway patrol had us pull off the road where the big Prairie Dog Statute is until it passed. Took about 30 minutes, don't think it was going over 5mph. Longest rig I ever saw.

John, Sue and I saw those big wind generators down in Texas on the road, the generator, then those long blades, man those trucks were going fast too.
Good pictures.
