oven problems

When using our oven the flame keeps going on and off, popping on and off almost constantly when it is maintaining temp. With the door open you can see that the pilot is lit all of the time but the flame keeps pulsing. The tank it is running on is not that low and the other tank is full. The stove burners never do this, and we are not trying to run the stove burners and oven at the same time either. Any suggestions? We are set up for the summer here while we are working on our house and cant just take the camper to a dealer. thanks.

I would check to make sure that your gas lines going to your oven burner are clean and free of debris.

Also you might tap lightly on the burner itself to dislodge anything that may be in the orifices. Little spiders are notorious for getting in there and causing some of the holes to be plugged or partially plugged. I think you can even buy a brush now made for cleaning them out.

We had the same thing. It was a loose gas line at the oven switch. Works fine now.

Try calling the stove manufacturer and ask them. Ours was doing that and we had to replace the temp. control valve.
