Our First RV Christmas!
Well we hope everyone had a wonder Christmas and Happy Holidays this season. Now although this may sound a little out of the ordinary for most folks I am sure in the FT RV'er land this will not but one of the biggest dilemas we knew we would have is how are we going to decorate for the holidays without totally cluttering up the inside and still being able to enjoy?
We always had a big tree with hundreds of ornaments, the house was full of Christmas spirit. Sue would take a couple of days just to decorate the tree (after my 4 hours of hanging lights and putting on my two Giants and Yankees "Christmas" balls ).
Well this year we got ourselves a "Charlie Brown" tree and proceeded to make up the rest.
Here is a link to our pics of the 'Tana decorated up to Sue's liking - http://s962.beta.photobucket.com/use...RV%20Christmas
Next year we are going to have to work on the exterior a little more!
Les

Grade "A" for a great job. We got so used to minimalism in our five years of full timing that we only used a 4" table top Christmas tree with small ornaments in the new house.

Great Job! Really looks good. We were also wondering how we come decorate things up with this being our first Christmas in the Montana also. We just had a small ceramic tree but it really helped us get in the spirit.

Looks great! We took the other approach. Chili pepper lights on the awning and the porch and minimal inside.

Looks good, but you must need that truck just to store all your Christmas decorations.

Very nice job of decorating there. Last year in Florida, in the Monty, our now 5 year old grand daughter who we are raising and lives with us, got up Christmas morning and said, we don't have a fireplace, how did Santa get in? Grandma said, Grandpa got up and let him. I was mud for about three days because I didn't let her get up and let him in so she could see him. She had set out milk and cookies for him. I told her me and Santa enjoyed them and he said thanks--that didn't help a bit, I was still up to my ears in "it" for not letting her see Santa. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

My wife and I were in your neck of the woods the other day, we went to that old antique store in East Stroudsburg, It looks like it used to be a train station or lumber yard or something like that. We drove around a little and ended up having lunch at 5 Guys Burger and fries on Rt 611. There sure was a lot of traffic on that road.I bought our Monty just up the road away at Pocono RV.

Next time in the area I highly recommend either Louie G's Pizza next to the Antique Barn on 611 and try their 1 LB. Louie G burger....Topped with Bacon, Chili and Cheddar Cheese and comes with home cut fries....$9.95...awesome burger. Also try Big Daddy's BBQ and try the Moo and Oink Burger....10 oz. burger topped with BBQ pulled porked!
We visit Pocono RV for our supplies, etc. We are waiting for the 2013 models to come in to check out. We plan on going to the Allen RV show next weekend as they will have new Montana's there.
