help for Mountineer owner in my park?

This nice man just stopped by. This is his story.

He took the battery out of his unit to use it to charge his truck battery last night. Someone came along and he did not have to. But he did not put his battery back in his TT until today. He says now his converter is making a steady clicking noise.

I asked him if he had tried turning off elec current and checking to see if 12 volt system was working. He went home to do that. But I really don't have any good advice to give him. Just guesses!

Any suggestions?
