Hey! I am Carol and my husband is Roger. We will both be retired as of August 1st and we celebrated by finding our Montana.

We put a deposit on a 2018 Montana 3130RE and are waiting for some repairs before we take delivery. We looked for over a year and finally decided to buy new over used and found this sweet baby in Peoria, IL.

I am sure we will be leaning on everyone here for help and suggestions with this new venture!

Thank you all for being here for us new kids!

Welcome. Waiting for repairs does not sound like a good start. Hoping you will post rig is perfect at delivery.

According to dealership the 3130 has a new stove and the gas valve was leaking! Problem has been that since it is new Keystone doesn't even have the valve...I did ask them to take off another unit but they only had the one, seems they tried that route. My issue with this repair is we asked them to call as we are 90 miles away and would have waited to do PDI until then but now they will have to do some of it again!

Carol, am I understanding this correctly that the dealer wants you to do the PDI before the part for the stove comes in? This would not be beneficial to you because they will want you to sign papers and I personally would not do that until everything is fixed and 100% to your approval. This is just me but I would tell the dealer that you will wait till everything is ready for the PDI and then do the PDI and take your time doing it.

Carol,

Welcome to the forum! Concur with recommendations to not sign or pay anything until it is 100% fixed.

We did the PDI without the stove and will do it when it is ready to pick up and now with another week to surf forums and sites there will be alot more things redone!

It has been 4 business days since we left without our baby and we did NOT sign anything! We do have a brand new hitch in the truck but still no word on when we will get our rig.

We managed to get her home Monday after problems with the hitch we purchased from the dealer not being compatible with the pin on the trailer...I love this dealership they have bent over backward to make us happy, they gave us $250 off the backup camera and gave us a Dish network antenna for FREE.

Keystone needs to step up and put out a better product from the get-go!
