Finally! MOC back up
Just logged on and it is working! Hopefully it will stay up for a while. Thanks for the patience all of you showed while this procedure was being done.

Well it is up, but I am not sure it is working correctly. There are no Avatars and if one Replies to a topic, it does post the Reply but returns with an error message to the effect "A Server Error Has Occurred".
On Edit: I received the error message when I responded to another posting. Yet I didn't get an error making this Reply. Weird.

I also noted a similar action. I guess there are still some bumps to smooth out. Perhaps by this afternoon even the anomalies we've noted will be fixed. At least it does seem to be working for the time being.

I work in the IT field so I understand downtime and maintenance. Given the events surrounding the spammer I expected the site owner to do this. Thank you for providing this wonderful forum that we all share and get so much out of.

That's what I thought at first also.  Glad it's back up.
Edit: By the way, it may just be me, but it sure does seem to be much have much better response times with the changes!

WOW!
My desktop is in the shop for a Windows problem, so I just go on again using a borrowed laptop.
I guess I'm lucky I didn't get to notice the downtime.
Glad to be back on.
