Rear Ladder
Ok guys, quite a while ago during a topic on ladders I said I had no problem using the ladder to climb up on the roof. I weigh 200 lbs. I even bragged on the strength of the ladder and I used it many many times. I think now I was lucky I didn't get hurt.
My ladder now has problems. The two supports near the top of the ladder are loose and won't tighten. In addition at least three of the bolts in the supports are rusted and no longer safe. I tried to remove one support and cannot. So I will have to remove the whole ladder after my next trip and replace all bolts with stainless bolts.
If anybody has experience working on these ladders would appreciate comments.
For now I bought a foldable 4 section ladder from Lowes that I can take on the trip. Fits right in front of the hitch.
