While the FBP is beautiful, keep in mind that Montana's are very tall and thus more susceptible to tree branch scratches than a motor home.

We have FBP on our new Mobile Suites. Love it. Got extra touch up paint with it as well but since we don’t pull this rig I doubt we will need it. Just did our first central Texas summer in it and did not notice any difference from our last (2004) MS.
On our Montana I took it to the body shop and requested they sand and paint both the front and rear caps. Looks awesome for about 2K.

FPB
FBP is the way to go if you can afford it! Rig will look great for years to come. All in what you can afford. I get my rig detailed every six months and it looks great. But it's not cheap. Sometimes wonder if FBP wouldn't have been cheaper in the long haul! Just a thought!

I see none of you all ever mentioned how that coloring affects your inside temps. Yes, those colors do look great, but how many AC units do you need to have?
This is one of my personal rant things, but ANYTHING other than just plain white will not help keeping temps down inside a 5er that only has an inch or so walls and just a bit more ceiling even if crammed full of the best insulation in the world. AND, guess what, Keystone won't use anything like that on a good day.
Full body paint is a good idea and will be much easier to maintain, BUT are you paying for something that will make you need a third AC? Think about it.

It's worth it. Expensive but worth it if you can afford it.

Yes!! It is worth it. I’ve owned 7 rv’s and the full body paint is definitely better. Maintenance is easier don’t have to worry about decals fading or cracking, etc...

I camp in high temperature and high humid conditions all summer and late fall my a/c units maintain thermostat setting temperature no problem

FBP is not a factor. The roof is white like all Montana's. Windows are a factor. Vehicle position is a factor and use of awnings is a factor. Geographic location is also a factor.
I don't run any ACs and we camp almost exclusively in full sun.

I don't have the paint but they do look nice.
Here is another thought on your new trailer. If you plan on traveling a lot I'd put the money into the I/S system rather than a full paint job.

Is FBP worth it’s cost?
Depends on how much money you have. For Warren Buffett? But he still wouldn’t buy it.
For most of us, you will need to decided for your self. You have heard the pros and cons. Is it worth it to you?

At our summer spot, we have our 2013 Big Sky oriented north to south with the ds to the east. The morning heats up the interior of the trailer in a hurry if we don't put out the awning and the 2 ACs have a hard time keeping it under 80. Once the sun is overhead, we don't get a lot of heat gain until the sun hits the west side of the trailer. If we were oriented east to west, I don't think heat gain would be much of a issue.

I agree with MT167. It’s important to put the awning up as early as you can to help deflect the sun’s rays. During the summer with both a/c units running we are able to maintain 74-75 degree setting easy with outside temp’s in the upper 90’s.

We do have the FBP on our 13402 Big Sky. The money would be better spent on other things like the IS suspension.
