Bedroom Slider Maintenance 2955RL

How do you lubricate the slider mechanism on the bedroom slider since it closed off from the outside?

Thanks

I would think that the only access is to take the false floor out from under the mattress of the bed. That is where all the slider "guts" are... Yet another in my (very) long list of things-to-do. OTOH, since it is kept out of the weather and road spray, it shouldn't require attention nearly as often.

Bob, I just did this last weekend, along with the rest of our slides.

Honda makes a silicon spray that works pretty well for me because I can find it everywhere. (I can't find the teflon stuff locally that SR talks about)

You just pull off the mattress and top cover to the bed storage compartment. (don't bother taking off the hinges, just unscrew the dampening shocks on the plywood storage lid)

The hydraulics and slides are directly underneath and I just sprayed and cleaned everything that moved. The SEALS outside and inside will stop making noise if you spray BOTH sides of them, so don't forget them.

Takes about 1/2 hour total.
