Galcier and Jasper National Parks

I'm heading north Tuesday, from central California to Canada, possible as far as Dawson Creek, by way of Glacier and Jasper National park. Any help on weather and potential road conditions would help.

And NO I'm not taking the trailer but heading up on the Motorcycle.

Any help would be appreciated
Mark

I'm sitting outside West Glacier and have seen daily rain but nothing heavy. Going to the Sun road is closed to through traffic until late June possibly early July due to snow and maintenance.

Your rain gear will no doubt be put to good use by the way its been around Calgary and the Mountain Parks lately.

Be sure to take Highway 93 (Icefields Parkway) between Lake Louise and Jasper. You'll need a Park pass to use the highway and it's well worth the ride.

Be prepared for cold and wet. WE are in Teton area and have had rain of some kind almost everyday. As of last week Beartooth Hwy was closed still because of snow. Drive safe and happy travels.

Pineranch are you at the KOA?? Some of the sites there are real nice, saw a guy last year take out the lower left corner of his trailer on a pine tree pulling it out of his spot. Just made me sick to watch it happen.

Looks like a nice secluded campground.
