New Montana

We picked up our new Montana on 10/16/08 at Leach Camper Sales in Lincoln, NE. They gave us a better price difference than we could find anywhere else and we have dealt with them before. All in all we are more than satisfied with the deal and the way we were treated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of purchasing a new Montana.
We went with the 2009 3400RL with 2 AC's and all the option packages, Emerald Isle interior and the DW loves it already. Lots of storage space and my only worry is that we'll over pack it .
After spending a night in the Montana and going through the entire PDI list form this forum we pulled it home to Arkansas with our Silverado 2500HD D/A with no problems. The 2500 HD pulls it with ease.
No problems so far. We changed out the tires before taking delivery to Goodyear G614's and had a few modifications done by the dealer. Now we're doing a bit of arranging and packing and looking forward to spending a few months in the Rio Grande Valley this winter.
All the neighbors are coming by to check it out the new 5er and we are happy to show it off a bit.
Thanks to every one for all the good information on this forum, it made the purchase of our new Montana a whole lot easier.

Larry and Sue-- Glad to hear you finally got up here to pick up the new rig! Wish I had the retirement money from MUD to get myself a new one! Enjoy and when you're in the Omaha area again give up a jingle and we'll have a toddie or two!

Congratulations on your new rig. You will find you can get by on a lot less stuff than you think. Thats the trouble with all that storage space. You think you need to store something in it.

Congratulations Monty Family but why did you change Goodyears for Goodyears? E for G rating?

Congratulations on your new rig. Great floor plan. Good move on the tires too, at least in my opinion. I run mine at 105 psi. I might be a tad heavier than you with the Big Sky. When you get loaded, and weigh your rig, you can adjust the pressure to reflect the weight you are carrying on each axle.

If you don't have it, I recommend the Pressure Pro tire monitoring system. Including my dual rear wheels on the truck, I monitor all 10 tires. It takes about 10 seconds to check them all while you are rolling.

What a great floor you chose. We are pulling a 3000RK and tho we love this unit the quad slides continue to catch our eye. I have been looking at the rear entertainment unit #3665, this has a another great floor plan. Have a grand time in your new Monty.
