I prefer Michelin, And i own a commercial Dump trucking co.
Its not to often my tires last over 2 years do to the rough road conditions. normaly a sharp object slices the tire so it dosent pay to put top dollar tires on.
My best luck is with the Michelin brand,
I bought a Mercury Mountaineer awd with another brand tire, It now has 40,000 miles and i replaced with Michelin,
My f250 has 110, miles it also will get pricey Michelins.
My 98 and 02 Dodge trucks had Michelins they came on the new trucks when i bought them. I have had very good luck with Michelins on my daily driven cars and trucks and when they went the distance on my comemercial trucks Michelin lasted longer and worked best fo me.
My fifth wheel is a 2012, I will change the tires by the end of 2014, i think i Would run the BFG's at that $749 price .
They all make nice tires Mich, BFG, Bridgestone, most Rv's spend most of there time parked so they may never get the use of the 60 to 70,000 miles the tire is rated for, That said you should be fine with the BFG at $749. As for me i would replace trailer tires every 4 to 5 years worst thing for a tire is to sit there and not roll,
Sorta like me the more i sit the worse my shape gets i better start moving before i have a blow out
Good luck.
