basement power

I plan on adding power to the basement, and was wondering about using one of the outlets from the washer or dryer I don't use. Being on a designated line with a breaker of it's own and located above were I want to put the power it seems like an easy answer.Yes,no,maybe.

Garyka,
What year is your Montana. I had a factory installed power outlet, and a 12vdc plug in receptacle. Also there is a TV connector. It's mounted on the ceiling on the step side in the basement. I also have a weatherproof plug on the step side mounted on the outside of the trailer that would be under the awning when the awning is opened. I'll take a picture of it if needed.

If you are not using the washer or dryer, it should not be a problem using the circuit for additional outlets.

We have the combo w/d so we had a extra outlet. Not wanting to make it a major job, we connected a power strip to the outlet and dropped it behind the w/d so it is available in the basement.
Happy trails.....................

I used one of those washer/dryer outlet circuits and ran the wiring up into the basement for some outlets.
