The Hidden Hitch 82201 is the choice of many of us for a easy bolt on installation. There are other ways if you have the time, tools, and ability, but for a quick and dirty, the HH 82201 is it.

I had it made up at a hitch place, probably hidden hitch, Yes to install under the Monte, check my slide show on that. I did not move the rear landing legs, some do, I just made it fit. It is at the very rear of the I-beam, and you have to install an extension on the receiver because of the Bubble-Butt of the Monte. And, bolt, don't weld.
Any time, Oldmillwright.

How are these rear hitches and bike racks holding up when on the road? I have heard about all kinds of real bad things happening due to bouncing/vibrating and the like.
Looking for some way to attach my existing bike rack to the monty. I have a friend from work welding up a hitch assembly to mount on the king pin box. I don't know which way would be better. I don't know of a way to keep on eye on the rear hitch mounted rack while traveling except maybe a camera.

Mike, I have had 2 bikes on mine for around 15,000 miles and all is fine to this point, (knock on wood)
I even had a heavy garden hose on it in addition, for 1,000 of those miles. I would go with the bolt-on model for the rear of the frame.

The wall where the panel is; slide switch, flood, or scare light switch. Drop a wire there to the steps, under to the front where the basement is, and it's not bad. You can tap onto the washer, or dryer outlet if not used. If it is, just come off the breaker panel with a new breaker and fish the wires from there.

ljensen,
Here are some pictures of the areas you will need to dig into: http://tiny.cc/Electrical
I think the slideshow, or remix titles 'Additional o' will help.
let us know how it all goes.
