Year Model & Graphics

I am just curious how many years they wait to change the look of the graphics on these units. If they are starting the 2008's I suspect the current color scheme will be around until at least the end of the 2008 model year. Any of the "OC" Montana Owners care to share your observations?

I hope the brown goes away soon! I sure miss the maroon and blue colors! What do you think the chances are, the 2008's will start coming out with a full body paint?? lol..........

I like the new colors but eye of the beholder... I know our 2001 and 2003's had the blue colors and they were nice, too. The brown came out in the late 2006 models, I think it was. I don't think there's a set time to retain the colors. It's just whenever they decide a change is needed. The graphics change from year to year even when the colors stay the same. Especially the nose but sometimes on the sides, also. Our 2001 had stripes on the side and a small "Montana" on the nose. Our 2003 had no stripes and a large "Montana" on the nose.

I don't know how often they change colors and designs but my early 2004 came with the 2003 decals, They changed shortly after mine was built. Roman

I'm with Sky, I don't care for the brown at all, I like the "older" blue scheme. Of course I'm biased.

Looking at our TV, I am more biased towards the white, but count me in among the brown crowd. However I reserve the right to change my mind in the future if we happen to move into another color scheme!!!!

I heard at the NE rally that they have made another slight change at least on the 3000RK model graphics. This unit has a rear access door to get to the trash can. Previous decals ran up to the door and stopped. According to Dave (Don't remember if it was before or after the drinks he blended in his new gas powered blender!) on the "latest" models the decal continues over the door.

Ironically, even though the scheme looks brown on the current models, it has multiple colors in it that will match about any color TV you can think of. It has blue, burgandy, copper, etc. Up close, I actually have a hard time finding anything brown in the color, yet my brown pickup matches pretty good.

Steve - I think that was Glenn that put that together. It might be somewhere here in the MOC homepage.
