trip to alaska, part three
Called dealer in Eugene to find out wheere we were at and was told they had weighed unit according to TM instructions!! The issue on the worn shackles was a maintance item and was not covered even though unit was only six months old and had been in shops for over three. I called TM and was told nothing wrong with unit. How do they know as they will not authorize anyone to look at it, to see why it bounces. Dexter says a rear kitchen RV has to have shocks peroid. After much discussion Craig said that if I would like to bring the unit to factory they would look at it at my expense!! I said we were leaving for Yuma sometime next month and said there would be snow in mountains. he suggested I then wait till spring and go south by way of Mexico and Texas, that way I would avoid the snow in mountains. I then asked asked if I was supposed to pack dishes away so we would not break them, pack food in boxes and store under rig and put food in cooler and keep in shower so we would not ruin fridge again. He thought that was good idea and should use paper plastic dishes while on road. He thought these were good ideas and he was dead serious
