A special Thanksgiving
People are at the center of our gratitude. Folks here on the MOC who have given us support through prayer and words of encouragement. People in our long term circle of friends, like those from University Baptist Church who opened their home to us at a difficult time and the leadership of the church allowing us to park the Montana on the property.
Family is included. They gave Dianna a great birthday dinner last Sunday. The laughter and sharing around the table was uplifting. I am grateful for children who are cooperative and don't squabble. It makes get togethers fun.
The doctors and staff of Texas Orthopedic Hospital have been helpful and encouraging. Tears of gratitude welled up behind my eyes to watch Dianna standing up at the kitchen counter, this morning, putting together a simple sweet potato casserole.
I am grateful for the opportunity to own the new truck and the new Montana. When we started into the full time RVing, I never thought it would be possible to own either. Like others have expressed, our Montana is home, real home, comfortable, beautiful, satisfying, even luxurious. We are impatient to return to the full timer lifestyle.
I am grateful to be alive, happy and energetic. My relationship with my God fills me with peace and optimism about the future. My life has meaning and purpose. Joy fills my soul and lifts my spirit. This is a special Thanksgiving. Blessings to each of you.
