hmmmmm I wonder what the weight police would say about that? I can bet that driver has a CDL and stops at weigh stations. GVW does not mean anything other that a sticker on a door! I see plenty 4 car-haulers at a local Chevy dealer that are way over the 16K the 3500DRW is supposed to be able to tow. One I talked to had a 31k tag on his rig registered in NC.

So are you saying there is no difference between a Toyota and a Chevy?

You know how these things are that you find wandering around the WWW...you don't know what is accurate or true. I just thought it was funny to see Toyota not using a TV of their own.

There is nothing in the Toyota lineup that could tow a trailer like that. =)

Local trailer company in Manhattan KS (R&H Trailers I think the name is) has one that long that he uses to carry his drag racer and has living quarters and shop area up front -- 50 ft long I believe -- pulls it with his F350 7.3 L Ford. Trailer itself is really light -- built like an airplane -- stringers with aluminum skin.
