Did he really do that?
I was talking to my neighbor at a campground in Bellingham a while ago and noticed that the rear tire of the truck that he has been pulling in the back of his motor home was really chewed up. Looked like it was run through a meat grinder.
When I pointed it out to him he hesitated and then told me that this is the first trip ever in a new motor home and he noticed the tire when he arrived from Southern California so went to the tire store but the price of the tires was more than he wanted to spend so told them to put the bad tire on the rear and he would tow it back South and get a new one there.
He said that no one told him to leave the steering wheel in the unlocked position so he ended up dragging the front tires all the way from California. The wheels turned but because they locked at a slight turning angle … I guess I don’t need to say more…
I don’t think I would have driven that truck around the block least tow it 1500 miles.

I would bet that his fuel mileage improves on the trip home.

What are they thinking? Lets see, we will tow the truck home so we can save a few bucks on a new tire but meanwhile we know it is unsafe but what the heck lets do it. LIGHTS ARE ON DIM AND NO ONE IS HOME.

You have to wonder why he didn't check things out between California and there, at one of his other stops. Do a walkaround at the very least.

Steve, if he is a dumb as it seems, he is probably not allowed to walk outside alone! That would explain it.
