New TV

Well, bowing to untold amounts of pressure, (mostly in my own mind), I went and done it.
Monday afternoon, after they gett the linex in and the running boards on Phyllis and I will go pick up our new Chevrolet 2007 Classic, 3500HD, 4 wheel drive dually!
It is same color as our cureent TV 3/4 tonHD, Silver Birch,
The only difference is that the interior is a light gray instead of the Charcoal gray in the 2004. It does have something that we didn't want, the rear entertainment system.
I got to figuring the other day, and when Phyllis finally retires, we will have over 70,000 miles on the 2004. I don't want to have to rely on 7 year old running gear. No qualms at all about the engine, tranny combo, just the rest of it, body, springs, etc. I do like the fact that there will be a bit more power available (torque).
Spent yesterday and today taking out the Cobra CB, the Prodigy brake controller, the Amsoil Hi by-pass oil filatration kit, and the hitch and hitch rails, air bags, and tool box.
All will go on "BB" (Bodacious Buttocks).

As can be seen from our signature, we believe you will be impressed by and learn to adore the BB truck!! The only thing that doesn't change is you still have to watch out for all the other dummies on the road that for some reason want to occupy the same space as us!!!

rickety, welcome to the Silver Birch society or the wide butt. Just got about 250 mile on our Chevy Classic. We had a 2005 model about the same. But the difference in HP is awesome and the 6 speed Allison well its just the best. We also had to get the rear entainment system but we bought the 05 and didn't know it was there until we had traded, but the Grand kids loved it. Going Thursday to get the bed rails installed for the Trailer Saver air ride hitch.

Congratulations on your great TV..... GBY...

Congratulations on one sweet TV. I like the Classic so much better than the new model and even though I bleed Ford blue, I truly believe the Duramax Allison is the best proven drivetrain available in a pickup and everyone who reads my posts knows how I feel about having the payload to pack a Montana. Duallies are built for Montana sized rigs. Best of luck with your new truck and I wish you many years of trouble free RVing. Take care. Don.

Congratulations Rick and Phyllis! Always nice to have matching numbers in front of your rig description !

Just looking at the new 08 Sierra version, and I like the looks of that one too. Especially the GMC.

A year newer than Bubba -- otherwise almost the same. You will love it. Bubba has 30,000 and nary a hicccup.
