Under "Tow Vehicles & Towing" if you go to page 19 you'll find Kodiaks 4500.

Here is the link from there.

Something to dream about.

Thanks for the site. I looked at a few and crunched the numbers for gcvw and found not a very good advantage for the money. I drove one and it was nice but? $$$$$$$$$$$. I filled my fantasy so now I will face reality. Thankfull for what I have.

I'm starting to see quite a few of the 'M2's around lately. Believe they are freightliner but not sure.

If one is looking at the Kodiak, I would suggest giving the Freightliner M2 a very hard look. Just got home from Nashville tonight after looking at another M2.

Depending on how you load one up, an M2 can be in the price range of a fully loaded up Kodiak. Neely Coble is probably the cheapest I have found, but does not come with all the options and luxury features of a Sportchassis or Sporthauler. Here are links for your enjoyment...

Gitrdun,
If you are interested in a medium duty truck, there is a LOT of information on the Escapees website here...
http://escapees.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x
Go there and scroll about half way down to MDT.

Just under there you will find the threads for folks who have HDT's or heavy duty trucks. It will take you several weeks of reading to catch up but it is worth the effort if you are really thinking about moving up to an MDT.

Hi big Sky, I live in Tennessee and have been to Neely Coble in Nashville. We also went to the place that upgrades their M2's, and toured the factory. Its a very well made upgrade, all steel and you can add and delete some of the bells and whistle's. We are in Casa Grande, Arizona and stopped at Camping world and look at a M2 that was in the $140,000 range but it had almost all options. It was a HOSS. We just didn't have the funds to buy the M2. And we didn't want finance or make monthly payments. So therefore we went with the Chevy Kodiak 4500, so for we are satisfied with the Kodiak. The ride is awesome, the Air ride seats and the Air ride suspension is the difference, we loved our 1 ton 3500 dually but the ride was harsh. Good Luck....GBY....

Lindy,

If you would have been in Tennessee this past weekend, we could have gotten together. I will say I enjoyed those 68-72 degree days. Got home early Tuesday morning, it was -5 degrees when I stepped off that plane. Already planning my next trip back down to Nashville...
