2009 Self Adjusting Brakes?

Does a 2009 have self-adjusting drum brakes ?

It depends. It was around that time that they started using Dexter self-adjusting brakes. Your 2009 may have had them or perhaps they were added later (if you are not the first owner). The self adjusters have two adjustment holes on the back plate, and they are side by side. The adjustable brakes have only one. Also if you pull one of the rubber plugs out of the adjustment holes you will see a yellow spring. Later they seemed to go to two holed backing plates for both types of adjuster (simplified part).

I suspect the only sure way to answer is to pull the drum.
