Improvement.....
Well, we moved to a new lot last week. Deck on the water, flower beds in place, and a small storage building. We'll stay busy now, treating rust and fishing. I've still got flowers and shrubs that need transplanting. They were hauled all the way from East TX.

Nice set up Will, but tell me where is this nice location? The deck was already there?

Aransas Pass, TX Google 427 E Ransom Rd, 78336, and you will see an old abandoned runway that juts out to the Intercoastal Waterway. Several years ago, a local contractor came up with the idea of turning it into a RV Park. It is owned by the city, and operated by individuals on a long term lease.
Some friends of ours had this lot, and wanted to recover some of their expenses in the upgrades, so we obliged them. We've also got a nice pier, just down from our lot. There are several RVs here with built on rooms. In 2007, the city changed the rules, and now you can only build a deck, with no roof.(hurricane impact zone) Our deck was grandfathered in. It has sunscreen on the top, with lattice over that to secure it, as it is quite windy at times.

Thanks Will. I located it on streets & trips. We sure like the idea of an add on deck as we have with our summer lot up here in Canada. Enjoy!

We got in some fishing last night. The Black Drum are in the shallows right now, and we picked up a couple. The two I caught were 16.5" and over 20" (ice chest only measures 20"), DW's was 18.5". Nice fillets. Also caught a couple rat Reds. The lights in the distance are the houses on the causeway to Port Aransas.

We kayaked around that RV Park last summer--it looked full. The water is really great around the park since the old runway sticks out into the bay. Hope to get down there and wet a line soon! The lot look fabulous!

Really, really nice. Sounds like you hit the black drum run also. Talk about batting 1000.
