Phanthom electrical problems

I had previously posted my electric problems. I found and repaired the problem of faulty outlets. I could not figure why the 110 power had gone off and came back on by itself. I found the problem today when it happened again. I rechecked circuit panel and all was good. I then went outside to trip pedestal and reset. When I approached it I heard a frying egg sound. and mind you I am hard of hearing. Anyway I promptly disconnected from it and hooked up to another nearby pedestal. Problem solved. now to get the Fish and Wildlife to contact the electrical contractor they deal with to come and fix it.

glad you found the problem could have been much worse especially if the neutral had been loose or burned in the shore power pedestal. just wondering do you have or use an EMS Surge & Electrical Protection- device? I would think it would recognize the problem and shut the power down
