Furnace, Heatpump or incommand?

We have a 21 Montana legacy 3120 that has been giving us problems with the furnace cutting off after 1-5 minutes and changing over to heatpump even though incommand has been selected for gas and the temperature setting is at least 8 degrees higher than sensor in rig. Keystone replaced board on dometic furnace and sail switch was replaced as well. We have had unit since Oct 2020. Have not been in real cold weather much so hasn't been a big issue. I thought it was fixed until last night and temps were 30 degrees in Florida. Reading the forums I saw that Dometic ac had a known issue with a controller in ac chaseway. Not our problem as we have coleman units. I was reading in Keystone forum and someone said to replace the autoreset 15 amp blade fuse with a regular one. I did this and the furnace ran for 20 minutes than I cut it off. Temp setting was 80 degrees and sensor said 69 to start. Seems like this may have fixed the problem.
Just want to share and see if others are having same or like issue.

Thanks!

Thank you for your post. I have a 2022 Montana 3931FB legacy edition and it was having the same issues. It was working ok but started kicking off after 30 seconds when it got colder. I'm in Texas, it has been snowing here and got into the teens, unbelievable.

Yes it did, so far so good. I am very happy that it did. I was breaking out the portables thinking this is not going to work for me. It's 66 by a window and the zone says it's 74. The floor heat is the biggie when it's cold like this, when the electric is just running no heat comes from the floor. I'm new to the Keystone Montana's and am finding my way with the HVAC system and now off to the TV's and sound system, that stuff isn't working right either.

Our dealer automatically changes that fuse out.

Is there not a setting choice for furnace only? Or turn off the AC/Heatpump breaker.

Glad to read this thread. I’ve been having similar problems off & on for a couple of years but am rarely in cold weather so have been simply putting up with it.

For furnace only with iN·Command, set to gas with fan in off setting. Auto setting allows heat pump to come on.

Just purchased 2022 HC 331RL and experimenting with furnace & heat pump - can you explain where this "autoreset 15 amp blade fuse" is located?

In your fuse panel. It's the large 15A black one next to all your regular 15A blue ones.
