WRSR - White Elephant Exchange

Western Region Spring Rally (WRSR)
White Elephant Gift Exchange
Tuesday June, 27th after the Potluck Dinner
Hosted by Susan and Macey Youngren

This has become the “Unofficial Game of the MOC”

Each rig desiring to play should bring a wrapped gift valued at $15-$20.
It can be a lovely gift or something fun and outrageous, but please try to make it useful in some way.
Participation is optional, but you will miss out on a lot of laughs if you do not play.

Don't tell anyone what you brought!

Each rig will be given a number when they deliver their gift. The order of play will be determined by a random draw of numbers from a can. The rig holding the matching number gets to pick a gift. The gift is picked from all the wrapped gifts. They open it immediately. There is no touching of the gifts before selecting.

The second number pulled has the option to take the first gift that was unwrapped, or they can take a wrapped gift and open it.

The third number pulled has the option to “steal” a gift from the folks ahead of them, or they can take a wrapped gift and open it.

A gift can only be stolen once during each round.

A gift can be stolen three times, but upon the third steal it becomes that person's and is no longer part of the play. This goes on until every rig has taken a gift. At that time, the first rig has the opportunity to swap their gift for any of the gifts still in play. It becomes quite hilarious to see what gifts folks have brought and see what gifts become “in demand” by everyone.

If you have never participated in a White Elephant Gift Exchange you are in for a treat!

The rally is not that far away. Do you have a White Elephant gift yet? Don't miss out on the fun!

I need a physical address to return Monte. Our Godson, Samuel, is getting married on June 24 in Lubbock, Texas. We cannot attend the rally in Jackson Hole.
This is the fourth attempt to get a reply,
It would probable be best if you sent the address to our regular e-mail which is
galenmorris@charter.net.

I am sorry to hear you won't be joining us but family comes first. I replied to your email earlier today. I had not been aware your attempts to contact. Where or whom did you email/contact?

OK, you bought the perfect White Elephant gift. Now it is getting to close to the time to find wherever you stored it and load it into the Monty. This probably doesn't happen to you but we bought our gift last year and it took us a bit of hunting to find it. I call it early dementia.
