Warm Jacket.....

If anyone in the South goes North don't forget a warm jacket. We are on our way to Tennessee for Christmas with the Parents, Kids and Grandkids. We stopped for a night in Decatur Ala. and I went to Academy Sports and Outdoors and got a heavier jacket. For some reason they don't turn the heat on as you go North. I also have to wear Long Legged pants tomorrow. First since last March. Life is Good. GBY.....

You are correct about warm clothes and remember to layer. Ann and I went to Rochester, NY area last week and got 18" of lake effect snow from Buffalo on Thursday. We spent Friday digging out. My brother in law has a 4' snow blower on his ATV. which did a great job. Saturday we came home, in the first 50 miles found three frozen bridges, and wet roads the rest of the way to PA boarder. Then dry roads in PA the rest of the way home.
Sure got my Snow Fix.
Merry Christmas.

Live in Montgomery Al and for some unknown reason I'm always wearing my short sleeve pull overs. In Chattanooga two weeks ago (grandaughters 1st B'day) you guessed it short sleeves. Folks came down from Missouri for the b'day party and thought I was nuts(snowed that weekend). My wife can't stay warm as I have the A/C on now as I type. I will throw a log on every now and then to give the appearence of being warm and cozy just for fun. Enjoy your Tn. trip. Steve

If anyone is driving south from the north-bring a warm jacket. It's cold and damp here, too.
In the low 50's today in TX.

It hovered in the forties here today. Rained all day also. Good time for the Carharts! At least we didn't get more sleet and snow. More global warming?

We're heading for TN from GA on Sunday. Still have our warm coats out from the last cold snap.
