If you are smelling it in the basement it mite not be a bad ideal to pull the back wall down and look at wear the pipes go into the top of the tanks. make sure they are all hooked up. With the back wall out you can see almost all the incoming drain and vent lines.

On our 3790RD they never installed the vent pipe properly, one side had not been sealed to the top of the grey tank. We kept getting a bad smell in the unit and in the front storage area... When full it started to fill the belly and reeked....

Changed out valves, changed out valve gaskets, took it to the dealer and said the tank is cracked I think, they replaced valve seals again but didn't fix it. Finally this spring I got up inside the belly and found that they hadn't welded the vent pipe properly to the tank and one side was leaking badly.

I researched for repair and then fixed the dang thing myself properly.... All good now...

Might want to poke a phillips screw driver hole through the corroplast and see if liquid is laying in the belly... that is a start.
