Running against the flow
Since I will cover the truck bed with a Tonneau cover, I decided to try out the Bedtred. I was not as easy to install as touted, or maybe at my age, nothing is as easy as touted. It looks good, very much like a spray-in. It is much softer on the knees and the non-slip surface is just that. I know this is running opposite the popular wisdom about spray-in liners, but I tend to run against the flow.......

I had an '04 F250 with a hard tonneau cover and a Bedrug. I really liked it. If not for the 5th wheel I would probably gone the same route on the later trucks.

jwedell, that is the one only for a Ford. My price was a little better because I got 10% off for Black Friday. Same on the discounted Tonneau cover, an extra 10%.

I opted for the spray in liner because it was permanent and nothing could get under it. It was also less expensive. Am I missing something?
What tonneau cover will you be using? I had a Pace-Edwards roll-back style on a prior short bed truck and didn't like that I lost about 11 inches to the canister. With my current long bed truck I went with a BAK Flip Back cover ( with four 2' sections), no canister and the whole thing flipped back against the back window and left almost the whole bed available for cargo but I recently removed it because I now have a low profile tool chest that matches the height of the bed rails so that it is not compatible with the cover.
There are so many configurations that are possible with a truck bed these days.

I have the BAK flip and am mostly happy with it. Unfortunately it's not hail resistant and it now looks like someone went over it with a ball peen hammer. The good news is that it didn't hurt the the functionality of it. I have the Bedrug installed (did it myself) and I really like it. I'll put another one in the next truck I buy. I know what you mean Stiles... This stuff gets harder as we age.... It was easy 20 years ago!

Art, the Bedtred was less expensive than any spray-in around my area. The way it is installed, it will be hard for anything to get under it. The drop-in types have lots of loose areas for stuff to get behind and under it, but the Bedtred is sealed at the top and at the tailgate. The sides are up under the bed rails and secured there. It is more slip resistant than any of my spray-ins have been (I have had four trucks with spray-in liners).
I opted for the Truxedo Lo Pro QT. It is a roll up and lockable. However, since it isn't a hard top, a pocket knife will gain easy entry. Since I don't have to haul all my tools around with me or hook up to anything, it will serve as a large trunk. Dianna doesn't drive anymore so this is our only vehicle.

I have had the bedrug in my truck for four years. I love it. Easy on knees, protects stuff from scatches, and stuff doesn't slide around. Dries out pretty quickly after rain if I leave the cover unrolled for a while. Mounted my Fifth wheel hitch right on top of it.

My King Ranch was the personal demo of the owner of the Ford dealership. They also own an accessory center which is right down the road and is a LineX dealer. My truck had the liner installed when I bought it and I have added a BakFlip Hd cover.
