Are there any Owners of a 2011 Montana 343RL on the MOC? I'm aware they are a lighter weight Rv, just like to know Your good or bad experiences.

I own a 323 RL Montana High Country. They are lighter and easier to pull and can be pulled with a 3/4 ton truck. If you are not full or long timeing it will do just fine. They lack the storage space of a real Montana. It is a very nice camper. You give up something to gain something. Most Montanas weigh in at over 12 K the HCs are closer to 9 K.

I have a 2012 343RL HC that I have pulled over 30k since new. The storage is more than adequate, good floor plan and most amenities found in regular Monty's. The only thing I have given up is the extra weight of some other models. The trailer is just as sound and tight as when I took delivery. Regular Monty's are built heavier and are probably better if you full time. For the average owner the HC models are a good fit. As for the electric slides, they have and continue to do there job flawlessly. Since bragging about the unit, now I have probably jinxed myself. Good luck

I have a 2013 343 RL. It takes two AC units to keep the entire unit cool. I had a second one put in place of the bedroom vent. I can't sleep when I'm hot. Both my wife and I like it on the chilly side to sleep.

As for heating, the furnace does a fine job keeping the unit toastly, but as mentioned above, the toastiness isn't necessary whilst sleeping.

When we're hooked up to shore power we just use a plug-in portable floor heater to take the edge off for our dogs at night. We'll also turn on the fireplace heater when we're sipping our morning coffee.

We have the 2012 343, no issues, 2AC's, one is good, depending on the weather, two is better. Looking at the current floor plans, it appears, the have shortened the 343 by a foot. So things do change. It does have one of the largest storage capacities(cubic feet, not weight carrying) We love ours.

x2 we have a 2011 HC 323rl like others said have loved the unit pulled probalbly 10,000 miles and no issues, more than adequate storage havent filled ours yet. DW likes the bathroom with access from bedroom or hallway. only issue is with graphics and keystone sent me a whole new set. im installing a couple now that have turned brown and cracking. love the floor plan, also am in process of adding 2nd a/c would probably move to a bigger montana if we were fulltiming. but not there yet.

I just bought our 2011 343RL last November and have only towed it once. It towed better than out previous 5th wheel we have diveway camped a few weekends in the cold and was very comfortable. I think fit and finish is really good and it has so much storage i hope i never fill it up!! Going for our first real run May 3rd so can tell you more then. But so far we love it

Looking to buy a High Country in the near future. Is the 4-point auto level up sufficient enough to level and stabilize the Rv?

Has been for 50 years, The six point is a fairly new set up.

Let me clarify my previous question. What I meant to ask, are the electric motors as capable of lifting the unit as a hydraulic system?
Also, the Auto 4-point lift points are positioned differently on rear of unit compared to earlier models.

There are certainly no issues with the front electric motors being able to lift the trailer as needed. The back electric jacks are just stabilizers and will not lift the back up. All front to rear height adjustments for level need to be done with the front jacks.

Most of the folks here assume the 6 point Level Up system is all that is available. When you say four point, they think of the front jacks and rear stabilizers. I think you mean the Lippert 4 Point leveling system which has electric motors on each of the jacks. I know a Montana 2850 owner and a Crusader owner who have that system and yes, it will definitely lift the wheels off the ground!!!
