Time to rview Emergency Road Service
I have Had Goodsam ERS for many years but the price keeps creeping up at every renewal. Thank heavens I never needed them. Any comments about Coach-Net how it compares to GS?
Anny comments will be appreciated.

Have used Coach-net for a flat tire 40 miles north of Yuma behind YPG. Have used their RV tech help and also have used their repair site locator service. Nothing but good things to say about them. Don't know the difference in price because, based on my experience so far, I'm not in the market to risk a change.

I have had GS for years as well, and also have never needed them......yet. Originally I renewed directly through GS, and the rate was $129. Then I noticed that Camping World had the same deal with GS, for $79. Every year since then, I've just renewed through CW for the $79 rate, while GS is still at $129. Go figure, it's the same thing.

I just got the renewal notice and it was $114. Checked the website and they had a 3 yr plan for $79, but had trouble getting net to work so I called them. He mentioned the $79 rate, so I went for it.

Just got our renewal notice today, and the "regular" rate for GS is $99.00. Did not see the three year deal, and I assume that $79 rate is for each of the three years?

I have been using Coach-Net for a couple of years and have no problems.Used them for a lockout and dead battery but have not used them along side the road for flat or truck repairs. Fast and friendly service...

We had coach net for several years and had good service when we use them a few times. Then two years ago we had a flat on the ins ide dually on our way to Florida and it was coach net disaster ending up with them paying the service people with a bad credit card.....Enough..went with G.S

I had AAA (29 years) until they refused to tow my F450 last year. I paid for the premier card. Disclosed the F450 truck, had RV on coverage application. My 2003 F450, had the bolts sheer off on the front wheel. I had to pay a commercial company to tow me! $279.00 year was what I paid, and eventually got back. My Progressive insurance policy will tow truck and Montana. My new Ford has 60 month tow coverage as part of warranty.

That's actually why we went with Coach-net. AAA sales people said our RV coverage would take care of us. I called the emergency number and asked and they said no, if the truck broke down they would leave the trailer by the side of the road. We were too long. That made the decision.

Hi
I figure mine works for me.
Cost for 5 years 0.
The only time I would have used it the company probably wouldn’t pay because the only way to move the Montana was to fix the problem or put it on a transport.
So here is what I did.

Here's something to think about when considering what emergency roadside service company to choose:
None of them do their own towing, they all contract out this work throughout the country. For example, if you use Good Sam and have a breakdown you're more than like going to get the exact same guy/truck as if you would have called AAA. And there are probably AAA decals on his tow truck!
Once I figured that out, I decided to you use the emergency roadside service company that would give me the peace of mind I need when I travel with my Monte.
I used to have AAA premier service, but that was approaching $200 per year. Then I discovered Good Sam Roadside Service, and was able to purchase three years of coverage for about half of what I would have had to pay AAA for the same.
Easy decision.
And I've used them both. No difference for me.
On a side note, Good Sam is meant for RVer's.
Remember: Your mileage may vary. Close cover before striking. Objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear.

Has anyone had any experience or heard anything about Blue Sky?
I was told they will tow the Monty or the tow vehicle.

I have had to use GS four times with my two Montanas and my 6.0 Ford power Stroke that I got rid of. They hauled the truck on a flat bed and towed the trailer with another truck. Every event was done to perfection and I would not even consider changing. The last tow was over 50 miles to the nearest Ford dealer and they dropped the 5th wheel at the KOA across the hwy.In NM out in the middle of no where I was very glad I paid the money.
The longest I have waited was one hour for someone to show up.

I'm a little confused (not unusual for me ). When I went to the CW site to renew my GS it said the $79 fee was for new sign-ups only...not for renewal. Have you renewed lately through CW? Maybe I should just ignore the "stop sign" and surge ahead. Better to ask forgiveness than for permission?

We have had wonderful success with using Good Sams. Had a blow out in 110F weather, had to pull off into a ditch to get off the road as it was only a two lane highway. Felt so sorry for the young man that had to help with the tire replacement. We ended up tipping the young man as this wasn't an easy task. Have used them on two other occasions and they were spot on. We got a renewal call on our last renewal and were offered the 3 year lower price on the phone.
Here is hoping your travels don't need any road side assistance.

We dumped AAA several years ago when we owned our horse trailer. They had no problem taking our money when we told them we had a 1 ton dually and a 37 ft. trailer. When it came time for a service call, they told us that neither was covered.

Hi All: We are Canadian snow birds going on 9 years fulltiming. We had AAA RV first 2 years until we discovered they will tow truck or RV, not both. So if my truck breaks down they leave my $ 70,000 Montana on the side of the road !We went with Good Sam. We have used them twice and had both vehicles towed where we needed.

We have had over the years just about all of the road services . We have G.S now. We had excellent service from all of them when we used them and yes the prices keep going up near every year. It is a good thing to compare every year or so. We do and usually change because they are giving away some incentive gift that I want.
