Samasung tv

We have a 2012 3100 RL. The Samsung TV LN32... has quit working.
It will work for a while and then go into a cycle of turning off and coming back on. It will continue this indefinitely. Some times it may stop long enough to focus on picture for a few minutes and then start all over again. When it is doing this it will not respond to the remote. I have to unplug power to get it to stop. Have taken batteries out of remote to make sure the remote wasn't "stuck". Anybody else heard of any similar issues?

You might call Samsung, they should be able to help. We have three Samsungs in the RV and two Samsungs at home...none have ever done what yours does.

It could be two simple things:

1) heat. If the unit gets too hot the circuitry will shut itself down.
2) moisture. If the humidity is too high, the circuity might short.

If worse comes to worse, it could be the power supply. And fixing a 32" TV might be more expensive than buying another one.

2012. Depending on when you purchased, may well still be under warranty. I would check.

It could be your power supply capacitors. Check this link and see if there is any connection with your problem: http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20123
One year after the extended warranty on my 40 inch Samsung LCD TV was up the capacitors in the power supply went bad. Fortunately, had a friend who was good at soldering those little cappy connections and replaced six of them at a total cost of about $12.00. First, as said before, check to see if it is still covered by the warranty.

We've a '10 that had the tv replaced by the dealer three months ago when we bought it as the previous owners had broken off the cable connector (DON'T ask me how!) and it's worked fine. We've also a 55" 3-D plasma and a 28" Samsung we've had for some time that have never done anything like that. You really should contact their customer support - try the chat feature.

One of mine did that not long after I bought it and they had to replace the led panel. They told me there are only a couple of working components in these tvs .
